Design a highly adaptive publisher site specializing in easy-to-understand investing strategies. The design must scale across all screen sizes, ranging from >1540px, all the way down to 320px to support the legacy iPhone SE format. Light and dark mode solutions must be presented, with special attention paid to accessibility standards. The final product must provide a minimal, intuitive experience with few distractions. The target audience are casual investors seeking outsized returns versus the S&P500 index.
The concept behind this project was inspired by the MyWallSt email newsletter. MyWallSt targeted a similar demographic, but offered an email-only product. Alpha Picks was meant to fill the market gap and provide a similar offering in a much more accessible format. Visual simplicity and intuitive organization were the biggest takeaway from the competitor evaluation.
