Design 6” x 4” wedding invitation post cards based on the client’s chosen color scheme of red, black, white and pink. The card must feature “Till Death Do Us Part” prominently on the front, and incorporate stylized illustrations of cartoons skeletons. Plaid pattern must be used in the design. The cards should be tiling-friendly, formatted for mass printing. Postage information and formatting, such as space for a stamp, return address and destination address must be included.
The design drew inspiration for tarot cards and Halloween decorations to create a playfully-macabre atmosphere. The visual messaging was tilted to be humorous and celebratory to underscore the theme and purpose of the cards. Plaid was set as a backdrop for the front of the card design, and incorporated as a heart-shaped detail on the back to maintain consistency.
