Create a multi-page booklet outlining design themes and inspirations for an interior design project. The booklet will accompany a formal project bid being submitted by an interior design firm (Tomas Pearce IDC) to a large scale real estate developer (Bazis International). The final product must be professional, unique and captivating to elevate the proposal package far above competitor bids.
This project was inspired by the Royal Ontario Museum addition (The Crystal) designed by Daniel Libeskind. The image layout grids used throughout the booklet drew heavily from parallel symmetries and followed the golden ratio. Inspiration was also drawn from velum as a medium. All text was isolated from image pages and printed separately as velum overlays. The final product placed heavy emphasis on symmetry, structure and layering.
