Design a logo and business cards for the Toronto Ukrainian Festival. The logo must have strong ties to traditional Ukrainian culture while maintaining modern graphic appeal.
Create a vector illustration to be used by the festival in other promotional assets such as posters and signage. The illustration must continue the theme of celebrating old traditions in a modern context.
This project was inspired traditional Ukrainian clothing. Specific emphasis was placed on pattern design and headdress styles. Homage was also paid to the significance of wheat in Ukrainian history and culture.
