Develop branding for a Mayan-inspired Southern Mexican style food catering company. Design and format print-ready business cards, letterhead, menu and food packaging. Create a logo variant optimized for extra-large vinyl printing for outdoor signage and vehicle graphics.
This design was inspired by traditional Mayan sandstone carvings. The color scheme was pulled from turquoise jade prevalent throughout the Mayan empire. Homage was paid to the significance of maize in Mayan culture by prominently featuring it in the final illustration.
